Juice Review: Steepd Walter White Xtra & Pink Fizz by UFA Vape

Steepd is a new range of e-liquids from UK manufacturer UFA Vape. From what I've seen there are 4 juices in the range, available in 30ml glass bottles, and I was sent two of them for this review. You can get it in 3 or 6 mg/ml nicotine strength and they all come in 80/20 VG/PG ratio. I can't really find the Steepd range on the UFA web page so I guess this range is just sold through other vendors. I do appreciate that they've put up reports from analysis of their juices on their page though, shows that they're serious about making vaping as safe as possible. I was sent some of their original juices as well, and a review of those will follow as soon as I've tried them out.

Walter White Xtra

Tested on: Goblin Mini V3 (Single clapton @ 0.4 ohms, 35-45 watts)


This juice is described as "Blue raspberry bubblegum and aniseed, with a chill". That sounds like an interesting blend I have to say. I have been experimenting with raspberry menthol blends before, quite unsuccessfully I have to admit. I guess that was a result of my severe lack of experience when it comes to mixing my own e-liquid flavours. But anyway, opening the bottle the smell of raspberry immediately immediately comes forward. Actually I didn't even have to open the bottle to smell it. You can also smell the aniseed in there but it's not super strong. Vaping it, I was pleasantly surprised. Don't really know why, I guess I didn't have any specific expectations for it. But it is really good. In fact... it's great. I opened the bottle just a few days ago and it is almost empty already. Very well balanced and the description is pretty spot on. Really refreshing juice that I for one could vape all day. I guess I already did, that's why the bottle is almost empty. It's worth noting that this is a pretty thick juice (that goes for the Pink Fizz as well) so keep that in mind when you're wicking your atty for it.

Pink Fizz

Tested on: Steamcrave RDTA V2 (Dual Alien Clapton @ 0.2 ohms, 65-75 watts)

Described as "Tangy and juicy old-fashioned fruit flavours". Smells like fruit candy, and I guess that is pretty much what they are aiming for with this juice. The second description on the Electronic Cigarette Co. webpage says: "An old school classic of orange, green, black and purple chewy sweets." So it's not surprising that this is also what it tastes like. It also got a nice sting to it... living up to the "Fizz" part of the name. It's a nice, sweet and fruity vape that definitely hits it's target. Without being able to pinpoint any specific brand of chewy sweets, that is what it tastes like. Even thought it is quite sweet it has enough freshness and fruityness to make it a well balanced easy to vape juice. Also a great juice but if I had to choose between the two juices reviewed here, I'd have to give the Walter White Xtra my vote.

Juice Review: Rush Rush Yayo by Cheap Thrills Juice Co.

UK based Cheap Thrills Juice Co. was another juice company I had not heard of until I was asked to do this review. Then again, I have been quite busy with other things lately as you might have noticed, with the public consultations going on here in Norway at the moment. Anyway, these guys have only three flavours in their range yet but there were only two when I was asked about this review so my guess is they're just getting started and I wouldn't be surprised if we see more from them soon. Since I've been vaping quite a lot of sweet desert vapes lately I went for the fruity option with Rush Rush Yayo this time.

Rush Rush Yayo

Tested on: Aromamizer Supreme (Dual Fused Clapton @ 0.2 ohms, 70 watts)

I get mostly apple when I smell this juice. Actually my wife brought home a whole plastic bag full of freshly picked apples that a friend of hers had given her just last week and so the smell was quite familiar to be honest. Vaping it I also get apple as the main flavour, but the watermelon and the strawberries also plays quite a part in this juice making it taste kind of tropical. The watermelon is mostly there on the exhale for me. The strawberry I might not have recognized if I hadn't known from the description that it's in there cause it kind of mixes in nicely just altering the apple a bit. So you're left with the feeling that it's a slightly different kind of apple if you see what I mean. It's quite a fresh juice, maybe best suited for summer as it kind of leaves me thinking that there should be a drink tasting like this... topped off with a fresh strawberry and a little cocktail umbrella. My guess is the drink already exists, I just haven't tasted it yet... but I'll look for it next time I'm at a proper beach bar somewhere far far away from this rainy town of mine.

Juice Review: Encore - An Isfahani Blend by Black Note

And please don't hesitate to send me any new creation you come up with... so far they only keep getting better and better. Thanks :)

These were the final words in my review of Black Notes' Quartet a couple of months ago. I'm happy to say they did send me a sample of their new creation, Encore. As I said, I've been mighty impressed by the Black Note range of N.E.T e-liquids so the bar is raised pretty damn high already.

Encore - An Isfahani Blend

Tested on Wismec Theorem (0.3 ohm notch coil @ 30-50 watts)

Encore mesmerizes the senses with a uniquely robust yet slightly sweet, honey-like flavor distinctive to the Ajami Tombac grown in Isfahan, Iran. The oriental environment gives rise to a complex, aromatic experience generated by the release of a rich bouquet of resins and ethereal oils. Ajami has been a delight of taste and aroma for centuries one you'll want to savor again and again.

Black Note really puts some effort into writing descriptions of their juices... as well as everything else they do to be honest. It is one of the things that have impressed me with this company, the effort they put into presenting their products and their very professional attitude shines through in a very informative an well designed web-page. I guess it is this passion and perfectionism that have enabled them to create some of the best tobacco e-juices I have tasted so far. The Encore, of course, is no exception. It is, as they say, a very robust tobacco flavour with quite a bit of sweetness to it. It's sweetness is not overpowering in any way though, and it has a pretty strong tobacco flavour but it has just enough hints of flowery honey in there to make it a quite smooth tobacco juice. It is indeed one of my favourites among the Black Note juices (and that says a lot). A must try for all tobacco lovers. Again, I'll have to encourage the people at Black Note to keep sending me samples of their new creations :)

Juice Review: The Druid's Brew, whole range

I remember Druids Brew from Vapepit back in 2013 (I think). A lot of people were talking about the fantastic Bread of Heaven back then and I also got to try it, but I don't think I ever got around to write a review... don't know why really. Anyway, I talked to Paul again not long ago and he offered to send me all three juices in the Druid's Brew range as soon as the new Crow Black was released. So here we go:

Bread of Heaven 
Tested on: Steamcrave Supreme RDTA (Dual Horizontal Clapton @ 0.35 ohms, 60 watts)
 
People struggle a bit to describe this juice, and I'm no exception. To me different flavour notes seems to pop up and disappear out of the blue almost every time I pick it up, while other notes and flavours stay the same. It is a tobacco vape, quite sweet and somewhat spicy without being able to tell you what spices. I some times get the feeling there is honey and malt in there which makes sense, especially for the malt as I seem to recognize some of the notes from Long Bottom Leaf an Shire Malt by Epipemods. Then I some times get citrus on the exhale. This juice has been around for quite a while now (2013 I think) and people seem to either love it or hate it... with the love group being the largest one, or at least loudest. I think it is a fantastic juice that keeps throwing me little surprise parties all the time.

Crow Black

Tested on: Steamcrave Supreme RDTA (Dual Horizontal Clapton @ 0.35 ohms, 60 watts)

The newest addition to the range is described as "A medium-sweet, creamy pudding vape with a dark twist." Like the Bread of Heaven it is kind of a mysterious juice and not that easy to pin down all the different flavours. I guess the base is a pretty sweet creamy vanilla pudding of some kind, but there is also some spices there that creates the whole mystery. You're left wondering what on earth you are vaping. I get hints of caramel as well maybe, but also some times I think I can taste ginger or even cinnamon bread. Quite a mystery this one, and definitely unique, but once you give up on figuring out what you're vaping and just enjoy it, it is indeed a great juice that goes especially well with black coffee. I'm quite sure you'll pick up other flavours than me if you try this one...



Snow Queen
Tested on: C.O.V Defiant tank (0.5 Ohm ceramic coil, 50-60 watts)

A menthol tobacco blend. Tastes quite sweet and in my opinion maybe more mint than menthol. It haven't got that insane cooling sensation that you get from very strong menthol, but more of a mellow, sweet, warm mint. No insane throat hit, but a nice little bite at the back of your throat. It also got some unique flavours to it, might be some hints of citrus or floral flavours, and I also pick up some kind of herbal flavours. I suspect you'll find quite a few of the same ingredients that you find in Bread of Heaven in this as well, and this gives it the unique, kind of undefinable character that made me love the Bread of Heaven. Very well balanced and probably the best menthol/mint tobacco I've ever tasted. An all day vape and definitely a juice you need to try out. Coming from me that's saying quite a lot as I'm not usually a big menthol tobacco fan. This juice though... fabulous and very very smooth. Try it!

Juice Review: Zest and Moz by Yogg Lyfe

A couple of weeks ago I reviewed two of the juices from Yogg Life's yogurt based range of e-liquids, the Zabadi and Poz. I was quite happy with them, and have been looking forward to trying out the last two. It was with somewhat fearful joy I opened these bottles and filled my tanks, since they both contain banana, a flavour that in my opinion can easily be done wrong and become quite sickening. If done right, however, it can be fabulous. Let's see.

Moz
Tested on: Steamcrave RDTA (0.3 Ohm Dual horizontal Clapton, 50-60 watts)
 

As Yogg themselves say, the Moz is a bit different than the other three juices in the range, because it's not only yogurt and fruit. It is supposed to be a banana cake in yogurt. Sounds kind of weird to me, but apparently weird works. I can't really say I smell the cake, smells like ripe, sweet banana. Vaping it, however, reveals the cake, and as I said... the cake really works. I'm thinking mostly banana cake, with loads of sweet, ripe bananas and some cinnamon notes when I vape this juice... not so much yogurt. But I guess the yogurt is still there giving it a creamy feeling as well that I can't really explain otherwise. I really liked this one, might be my favourite of the four, and unless you really really hate bananas I'd say it's a must try juice.

Zest
Tested on: Steamcrave V-RDA + Squonker (0.4 Ohm Dual Clapton, 50-60 watts)

In the Zest the banana is accompanied by passion fruit and pineapple aiming for an exotic, tropical flavour. It sure smells exotic and tropical... and tastes like it as well. Pretty spot on and true to the description I'd say. The pineapple is delicious in combination with the bananas and yogurt that kind of makes it a bit more mellow without removing all the sting from it. A really well balanced, creamy and exotic juice that hits its target spot on. My fear of overpowering and sickening bananas in the Yogg range has been proven unfounded after trying these two juices.

Juice Review: Zabadi and Poz by Yogg Lyfe

Yogg Lyfe themselves say they set out to "deliver the perfect combination of delicious Yogurt and fine fruits". This has resulted in a range of 4 juices, all blends of Yogurt and different fruits. As far as I know, all their juices are delivered in white 60 ml bottles in nicotine strengths of 0, 3, 6 and 12 mg/ml. Today I'm reviewing two of the juices and I'll review the other two later on

Zabadi
Tested on: C.O.V Defiant (0.5 Ohm ceramic coil, 60 watts)
 
Mango and vanilla is supposed to be the main flavours in this one... in addition to the Yogurt of course. Sounds really tempting. Smelling it I suspected this was quite a sweet juice, and I wasn't really all that wrong. The mango is pretty sweet but well balanced with the vanilla and creamy Yogurt flavours. Even if there is quite a lot of sweetness in the juice it's not sickening and the mango is very authentic if you ask me. It even have that little sting at the end that you get from real mangos. A really well balanced juice, creamy and easy to vape all day, that also gives you loads of vapor being a 60/40 VG/PG juice (they all are).

Poz

Tested on: Steamcrave Supreme RDTA (Dual Clapton @ 0.3 Ohms, 60-70 watts)

Another juice that smells pretty sweet. Raspberry, Hibiscus and Pomegranate this time. Now Hibiscus and Pomegranate are not the most familiar flavours to me, but raspberries I do love and eat quite often. As I said, this juice also smells pretty sweet, and it tastes pretty sweet as well. Again, authentic fruit flavours and great balance. Same creamy yogurt base as the Zabadi. This base makes the Yogg juices pretty unique, I don't have the feeling that this is something I've tasted before, even if I have tasted quite a few fruit juices. Makes me look forward to try out the two remaining flavours in the range.

Juice review: VG Peaches & Milk + Chocolaccino by Simple Vape Co.

The VG line from Simple Vape Co., as the name implies, is a range of high VG juices (80/20 VG/PG). Should be perfect for high powered box mods, drippers and cloud-chasing. The range currently consists of 4 flavours, and the nice guys at ecigarettedirect.co.uk were nice enough to send me two of them for this review.

Chocolaccino

Tested on: Steam Crave RDA (Dual Clapton @ 0.25 Ohm, 60 watts)

Chocolate, caramel and coffee on a biscuit base says the description. I agree. To me it smells a bit like those Caffè Lattes with some flavour syrup in it, and it pretty much tastes that as well. Maybe some nutty tones as well. I don't get too much chocolate, but rather more caramel tones. Actually, this juice goes pretty well with my black coffee in the morning. A well balanced juice you should try out, especially if you love coffee.





Peaches & Milk
Tested on: Steam Crave RDA (Dual Clapton @ 0.25 Ohm, 60 watts)

I've never tried real peaches with milk. Actually I've never heard of the combination before... but then again, I'm Norwegian. I've learned from googling that my mother should have given me this when I was a kid though, so I'll have to have a chat with her about that. Anyway, it sounds kind of tempting, and it tastes pretty awesome. The peach is pretty sweet, reminds me of canned peaches rather than fresh ones, and that's probably what my mother should have used as well. The milk is creamy and delicious and there is just enough of it to make me say this juice is really well balanced as well. Even though I liked the Chocolaccino as well, I have to say this one was my favourite of the two.

Juice review: Button Junkie (Whole range)

The Button Junkie range consists of 4 juices, all of them with some fruity elements in them. Button Junkie have teamed up with Ecigwizard to manufacture the juices to be able to meet demand I guess. You can read more about this on their web-page. All their juices are 30/70 PG/VG and it looks like it's available in 0, 1.5, 3 and 6 mg/ml nicotine content, at least from Ecigwizard. I kind of like that they've put some extra effort into the artwork and design as well, usually means they've put some extra care into the juices as well.

Gorilla Trigger
Tested on: Smok TFV4 micro (CLP Fused Clapton Dual Core 0.3 Ohm, 50-60 watts)

I'm weird when it comes to pineapple... I think. I like fresh pineapple, and pineapple juice, but I'm not very happy if I get it on pizza. I guess in general I like it cold but I don't see why you need to put pineapple in hot food. So I have to admit I was a bit of a sceptic, as this juice is supposed to be pineapple cake. However, the smell of this one makes me a bit less sceptical. Quite fresh smell. When tasting it I'm a bit surprised, I think I might like pineapple cake even if it's hot. It's quite well balanced and quite sweet without being sickening. It's a juice I'd have no problem recommending, especially to pineapple lovers. Button Junkie calls this juice "gentle", which I think is quite a good word for it actually. It's not overwhelming in any way, but rather quite easy and relaxed ... if that makes sense. Good one for vaping all day actually, despite the quite aggressive name.

Tiger fire

Tested on: UD Zephyrus (0.2 Ohm, 40-50 watts)

This one smells of citrus fruits. It's supposed to be a cheesecake base with cream, oranges, lemons and grapefruit. And you get quite a lot of the citrus fruits when vaping this. I'm not sure I get so much cheesecake and cream but there is something in there kind of smoothening the edges a bit, but still leaves some of the bite of the citrus fruits. Guess that might be the cheesecake and cream then. I really like this one to be honest. Even if I can't really taste the cheesecake that doesn't mean it's not good... cause it is. Definitely an interesting take on citrus fruits that I think you need to try out cause it's not that easy to describe.

Crack Panda
Tested on: UD Bellus (Dual Coil @ around 0.45 Ohm, 30-40 watts)

Smells ... fresh I guess is the right word. A blend of apricots, peaches and other tantalizing tropical fruits according to Button Junkie. And that's what it tastes like as well. It is indeed a quite sweet yet very refreshing blend of fruits. Really like this one, might be my favourite in the range I think. Definitely an all day vape for me.






Vulture Punch 
Tested on: Secret tank that I'm trying out for someone :)

A bubbling brew of thick, creamy custard & sweet, ripe strawberries with a hint of caramelised brown sugar & Madagascan vanilla. This is Button Junkies description of this juice. One of my favourite juices is a strawberry custard and I'm sorry but this one does not quite come up to that level. It's a good juice, but I personally have another strawberry custard that I like better. Then again ... taste is a matter of personal preference, and this one is good enough to make the list of strawberry custards you should try out to find your favourite.

Juice Review: Waxahachie, Nanabozho and Coyote Coconut by Manabush

The Manabush "Original range" are all based on their original product, the Powwow Sauce, which is supposed to be a sweet tobacco blend. Manabush has mixed this with lots of different goodies, like banana, coconut and gingerbread to create a whole range of juices. Coincidentally, the 3 goodies mentioned above are all found in the 3 samples sent to me by vapour.co.uk for this review. 

Waxahachie
Tested on: Smok TFV4 mini (Clapton RTA @ 0.6 Ω, 40 watts)

Gingerbread and chocolate, according to the description. A combination I'm not used to at all. Smelling the juice, I'm not really sure what to think, maybe there is some chocolate there but I can't smell the gingerbread. Vaping it however, I do get the gingerbread as well as the chocolate. However I really don't get that much of a tobacco flavour from this one. Quite a nice, warm flavour, almost like it was made to enjoy during Christmas.


Nanabozho

Tested on: Smok TFV4 mini (Clapton RTA @ 0.6 Ω, 40 watts)

Smells like banana, tastes like banana. Again I don't really get that much tobacco, but rather a sweet biscuit base and loads of ripe banana on top. And the good thing is that this one doesn't get sickening after a while like some banana flavours tend to do (IMO at least). Actually I think I'd have no problems using this as an all day vape, even if it is quite a sweet juice. My favourite of the three.

Coyote coconut
Tested on: Smok TFV4 mini (Clapton RTA @ 0.6 Ω, 40 watts)

Again, no tobacco flavour, but both smells and tastes like very sweet coconut. I'd say it reminds me a lot of one of my favourite Christmas treats, coconut macaroons. I could it tons of these during Christmas when I was a kid. Actually I probably still can, but luckily for my health I don't live with my mother any more so I don't have free access. Another great juice from Manabush.

Now as you can see I didn't get much of a tobacco feeling from any of these three juices, but honestly, that doesn't matter that much. They're all great juices and I wouldn't mind trying out the rest of the range either, based on my experience with these.

Juice Review: Trixie 2 & Nia 9 by 13 Sins

I was pretty happy with the first 2 juices from 13 sins that I reviewed back in September, so I was looking forward to trying out these two. Both these juices are 30/70 PG/VG ratio. I might have told you last time that the other 2 were 40/60, but having a closer look I see now that Suzy 6 is actually 50/50. Sorry about that. Anyway, these last two, being pretty high on VG might be more appealing to the cloud chasers out there.

13 Sins comes from the people behind T-juice, and I think it's worth mentioning that all these juices are tested for the nasty stuff that seems to trigger lawsuits at the moment, and you can find the test results on their web-page. It's great to see they take their responsibility seriously. (The other T-juice tests are also available here.)

So, onto the juices:

Trixi 2
Tested on: UD Bellus RTA (Dual kanthal @ 0.6 Ω, 40 watts)
 

"A full on vape sensation, packed full of cool zingy freshness. An electrifying combination of stimulating mint, lemongrass and lime, coupled with the smooth fruitiness of apricot and apple and just a slight lick of aniseed. Trixi is a tantalising temptress of the taste buds."

I didn't even have to open the bottle to smell the citrus in this juice. It has quite a strong, fresh smell, quite mouthwatering to be honest. And the flavour ... is even better. It's true to the description, has a huge amount of flavour. The lime and lemongrass comes across as the strongest, along with the aniseed that gives this juice an extra dimension, and quite a bite. The mint, apricot and apple is not very pronounced, I guess the mint is there playing along with the aniseed and gives a bit of sweetness, and the fruits give the juice it's kind of undefinable fruitiness. A great, refreshing juice and I'd say this is my favourite among the 13 Sins juices so far.

Nia 9

Tested on: Smok TFV4 (TF-CLP2 Core @ 0.35Ω, 40-60 watts)

"A fragrant and inescapably alluring blend of chai spice, mingled with complex notes of wild red berries and vanilla cream. Nia is a subtle, yet sensory enslaving ADV, with facets of blackcurrant and tangy citrus, which leave the satisfying, sweet aftertaste of warmed sugar on the palate."

The Chai spice was the first thing I noticed when smelling this juice, and vaping it for that matter. To me this is the main flavour of this juice, the juice is kind of built around these spices, in a successful effort to enhance and pronounce it. You can definitely taste the citrus as well, playing quite an important role. I said Trixi was my favourite among the 13 Sins juices, and I stand by that statement, but Nia is not far behind. Great juice!

Juice Review: Il bacio by Suprem-e

I'm actually not sure if I've tried Italian made e-liquid before, but I do like Italian food. I mean who doesn't? Suprem-e writes quite a lot about their efforts to make safe products on their website, but they were involved in the case where Cloud9 tested some juices and decided to withdraw the whole Five Pawns range. The juice I'm reviewing here was also withdrawn due to detectable DA and AP. Still the amounts found was in this one was not very high and probably not put in there on purpose. I don't know if Suprem-e has taken steps to fix this, and I can't really find any info on it either (feel free to comment if you know anything). However, as I said, the amounts found in this juice is so low that I'm not worried about it, as the levels are around the limits Dr. Farsalinos have mentioned earlier as probably just contaminants in the flavourings used. As I said, personally I feel vaping this is perfectly safe, but I also feel that test results should be published so every vaper can make an educated choice.

Il Bacio

Tested on: Steamcrave RDTA (OCC head @ 0.3 ohms, 30-40 watts)

I don't speak Italian... at all. So when I first saw the name of this juice I just assumed that "bacio" meant tobacco. Sounds reasonable doesn't it? To be perfectly honest I didn't even check it out before I tasted it... and it tasted didn't taste tobacco... it tastes like Hazelnut. So I had to check out what Il Bacio means, and according to google it means "The kiss". Anyway... after this little surprise, I do think this juice is quite good. It is not a pure Hazelnut e-juice, there is also chocolate in there. Kind of reminds me a bit of a chocolate we got here in Norway with whole hazelnuts in it. It's the same flavours, but different balance. This has much more nuts and the chocolate is more in the background. The nuts are pretty authentic with a little bite to it. I have to be honest, hazelnuts and chocolate is not my favourite flavour combo, but it doesn't at all taste bad and I can easily enjoy this juice for days, and for those of you who just love chocolate with nuts in it... try this one.

Juice Review: Kringle's Curse by Halo

Halo has been around for as long as I can remember. I remember considering at their mini tank system when I was looking for a really easy to fill cig-alike starter kit for a smoker I know that I've still not managed to convince that vaping is the way to go. Pre-filled didn't quite do the job and cartos were way to complicated to fill. Yeah, Mum, I'm talking about you again. Anyway, Halo also make e-liquids, and from what I've seen they get quite good reviews. I have to say, however, that even if Halo's website looks pretty good, clean and professional I do have some issues with it. First of all, they call themselves Halo cigs... not e-cigs or vapes or whatever. In their "Why Halo?"-section they also talk about "American Made Smoke Juice". It's not a huge issue, but I do feel Halo should do a better job making sure new users understand that vaping and smoking is not the same thing. Anyway, that being said, let's move on to the review of the e-liquid that esmokes.se sent me :)

Kringle's Curse

Kringle's Curse is part of Halo's Gourmet range. Pure peppermint, according to the description... and it sure smells like it. Opening the iconic blue bottle you get a pretty strong, fresh peppermint smell. The taste... is also very true to the description. Spot on, I'd say. A cool, pretty sweet peppermint. Great balance when it comes to sweetness, just sweet enough without being sickening, which also makes this a great all day vape. No surprises here but a lot of flavour, good throat hit and decent vapour-production. I can really see why this one has gotten very positive reviews. Great juice that I've got no problems recommending. Halo have also tested their juice for Diacetyl and Acetyl Propionyl, and published the results, which is a big plus in my opinion. Now if they would just stop using the word smoke on their website I'd be really happy with them :)

Juice Review: Mother's Milkshake by Yaeliq

Yaeliq is the only Israeli e-juice maker I know of and they say they're a "family owned business that began as a hobby and the desire to vape quality e-juice, made from the world's finest ingredients". They've got this slogan as well... "Premium liquid from the holy land". Kind of big words don't you think? Let's see if they can live up to them, shall we?

Mother's Milkshake

Tested on: Steamcrave RDTA (Dual coil @ 0.5 ohms, 30-40 watts)

This juice aims to be a strawberry milkshake flavoured juice based on ripe, fresh strawberries and cream. Smelling the bottle it sure smells like strawberries, but I do feel it's got kind of an artificial, candy kind of strawberry smell to it. Not that promising if I'm honest. Vaping it however, does not taste artificial at all in my opinion, I get more of a fresh, natural strawberry taste from it... and cream... loads of cream. Tastes like a really thick strawberry milkshake, so their description is not at all off. It produces a lot of thick, creamy vapor that you almost feel you can chew. You almost get the feeling you'll gain weight just by vaping this stuff. It is pretty sweet so for me it's not an all day vape, it's more of a dessert vape... I mean a vape that I'd actually have for dessert, and dessert is my favourite part of the meal. Really a great juice this one and, judging by this one, I'd say Yaeliq's big words that I mentioned in the beginning are justified.

Juice Review: Unicorn Blood by Fuzion Vapor

Usually when vendors contact me to asking if I want to do juice reviews they ask me what I like, and usually I'm not able to tell them. And usually I don't want to either, cause I'd probably just end up with something less interesting, some juice that I've heard a lot about and so on. So I'll tell them to send me their own favourites, some times adding which flavours I really don't like. For me it's a lot easier naming the flavours I don't like than the ones I do like... cause I like a lot of different stuff. Anyway... when Johan at esmokes.se asked me if I wanted to do some reviews, I told him to send some of their favourites, and the first one I tried out was this Unicorn Blood by Fuzion Vapor.

Unicorn blood

"Tastes exactly like rainbows.” - This is what Fuzion Vapor writes about this juice on their web-page. Well, how the hell does rainbow taste like? Actually the rest of Fuzion Vapors' description won't give you much more of a clue either, but some googling and smelling the bottle tells me this is a fruity candy kind of flavour. Vaping it the flavour seems quite familiar, but I couldn't really put my finger on just exactly which candy it reminds me of. Definitely a fruit candy kind of flavour though, maybe lime skittles is closest as some other reviewer suggested. It's been a while since I've had lime skittles but from what I can remember it's  close to this. It's a pretty sweet juice, so definitely candy, not trying to replicate the fruits itself. And the more I vape it, the better I like it. Cranking up the watts gives you even more flavour. Great juice that I believe I could vape all day long.

Esmokes tells me this juice has no Diacetyl, but it does have some sweeteners and food grade colouring. However, Fuzion also have a redesigned version (Fuzion Prime range) of this juice that don't have this stuff in it, and is also supposed to work better on RDAs.

Juice Review: Cream Berry by Perino London

Perino London is, surprisingly enough, born and based in London where they say they produce their handcrafted juices in small batches. From the looks of it they currently have a range of 8 juices, all of which look quite interesting if you ask me, except maybe the Rhubarb/Custard which ... well let's just say I'm not a big fan of Rhubarb. So when the guys at Electric Tobacconist asked me if I wanted to try out some juice from Perino I told them "sure, just not the Rhubarb, please".

Cream Berry
Tested on: Aspire Triton (0.4 ohms, 40 watts)

The Cream Berry is a "fusion of creams and custards masterfully brougth to life
with hints of strawberry". Smelling this juice I get more than just hints of strawberry but tasting it I can totally agree with Perino's own description. There is a lot of custards and maybe even more creams, and I only get hints of strawberry like they say. But it's still enough to make this different from say a standard vanilla custard, and I noticed you get more strawberry if you crank up the watts a bit. The berries freshens the whole thing up a bit. When it comes to vapor production this juice, being a 50/50 VG/PG juice produces a surprisingly big clouds of thick creamy vapour. It's quite thick as well, but I did not have any wicking issues on my Triton.

If I were to change anything in this juice it would be to put a bit more strawberries in there. I'd say if strawberry, creams and custards sounds like music in your ears, you should give this one a try. And I wouldn't at all mind trying out some of the other juices from Perino either, cause some of them looks quite exciting as I said.... just no Rhubarb for me please :)

Juice Review: Jack 3 & Suzy 6 by 13 Sins

13 Sins is a fairly new range of UK produced e-liquids. Well at least I had not heard of it until I was asked by ecigarettedirect if I wanted to try out a couple of these juices. I kind of like the whole design and concept behind 13 Sins, where each of the 13 flavours have their own piece of art by street artist Fin Dac linked to it, and printed on the label. Currently there's only 4 juices available from what I can see (http://www.13-sins.com/), seems like they're releasing them in pairs.

So I like their design, website and story, and I like that they've published test results (for diacetyl and acetyl propionyl among other things) but what about the juices? From the descriptions on the website it looks like they're aiming for quite complex stuff, which, in my experience, can go both ways. Also, when mixing up quite a lot of flavours, there's a great chance you'll end up with a few opinions and some love/hate juices. Let's see.

Jack 3
Tested on: Hellfire v1 Dripper (0.4 ohms, around 25 watts)

"A powerfully moreish toffee popcorn punch, for lovers of all things dessert. The flavour combination is made up of a ripe and bruised banana undertone, and notes of coconut, caramel, raspberries and clotted cream."

I told you they we're aiming for quite complex juices. The quite funny thing is that when tasting this juice, while reading the description, I can taste all of those flavours, except maybe the raspberries. Smelling the bottle I might agree that there is some raspberries in there, but I can't really taste them. It got quite a lot of flavour and produces quite a lot of vapor (not unexpected as these are 40/60 PG/VG). The even funnier thing is, I expected that I'd either love or hate these juices ... but I don't. I like it, but I can't really say I love this one. Still it's a good all day vape, and I've got no problems recommending it. In fact I think it's definitely worth trying out, cause in a way it's very likeable. I guess I'd say it's probably more of a like/love juice than a hate/love juice.

Suzy 6
Tested on: Hellfire Raptor Dripper (0.55 ohms, 40-60 watts)

"A fruity burst of sweet candy zests, which will excite your taste buds. There are overtones of strawberry, watermelon, and raspberries, followed by a smooth, cream soda exhale with just a hint of freshness. Suzy is a silently seductive all day vape."

Again, quite a lot of flavours in there. And again I'm quite surprised that they manage to be so spot on in their description. I get the cream both on the inhale and exhale though, and also quite a lot of it, but that's a good thing in this juice. And I like the tingling soda feeling you get on the exhale. Quite an unusual combination this for me at least.... cream soda. Never even thought of it, but I like it. The balance of the flavours seem to change a bit with the heat as well in this juice. Turning up the watts mutes the fruits a bit and brings forth more of the cream, while turning down the watts will make it a bit fresher and more fruity. Quite consistently as well actually, so if you're vaping regulated you can choose whatever suits you the best at any given time. So do I love this juice? Well, I'd say I like it for now, but I do seem to like it more and more so maybe I'll end up loving it in a while. Also one to try out.


Judging by these 2 juices I'd say 13 Sins is worth keeping an eye on. As I said, looks like they've only released 4 of the 13 juices yet, and I'd say the 2 I haven't tried look quite interesting as well.

Juice review: The Notebook by Black Note, Part 2

It's been a while now since I wrote Part 1 of this review of The Notebook from Black Note. Back then I had only tried half of the juices in the box and I guess I kind of promised to do the rest as well, and maybe pick a personal favourite. Trying out the last 4 juices has been just as time consuming as the first 4, cause these are just as hard to put down. You simply don't want to re-wick your atty and go for a new one until you're sure there is absolutely no hope of getting another drop of juice out of the one you're on.

So... the juices. As in Part 1, I'm not going to go too much into the details but I'll try to give you a few words and an idea what the juices taste like.

Sonata
Delicious, fire-cured virginia tobacco. This is a Cavendish blend, which means using some special process (I'm not an expert on tobacco) to bring out the natural sweetness of the tobacco. This has made this juice sweet but not too sweet, although it is one of the sweeter ones in this range. Loads of flavour. Pretty close to the taste of cigarettes without smoke. One I would recommend for smokers wanting something that truly tastes tobacco.

Solo
Great, super-smooth mint on top of virginia tobacco. The tobacco is in the background but that's totally ok when the mint-flavour is as good as this one. I don't really know why but I've not tasted that many menthol/tobacco blends. Might be because I didn't really care for menthols when I was smoking either, but this one is really good.

Prelude
Very smooth and pretty sweet Virgina tobacco flavour, apparently based on tobacco grown in Italy. Even at 60 watts on a Hellfire dripper this one is pretty smooth and easy to vape. Very natural and authentic tobacco flavour. An all day vape for me, and I bet this one will be the favourite for many.

Bravura
A perique blend it says on the bottle. Also a quite sweet one and with fruity undertones. Maybe some hints of nuts as well. Pretty complex with a bunch of flavour. Fantastic juice that kind of saves some surprises for you, which it releases in tiny portions depending on what else you put in your mouth. Try this one with coffee... then try it with a beer ... and then some wine or just sparkling water.

Now, picking a favourite among these juices is not really easy. Almost impossible I'd say, so I'll pick 2, but I won't recommend you go buy them if you haven't tried Black Note juices before. What I'd recommend is to buy The Notebook and pick your own favourite. These are all fantastic juices, and I'm pretty sure that if I just tried one of them, any one, I'd say it's one of the best tobacco juices out there. I'd be in danger of just buying more of that one and then I'd be missing out on all the others. But anyway, I said I'd pick 2 favourites, so ... if I could only pick 2 of these again it would have to be (drum roll) Solo and Prelude. Mainly because I think those are the one's I'd use the most, but I'd still miss the Bravura for my morning coffee and the Legato when I go hunting or fishing, and probably the others just as much for other occasions or just variation. The guys at Black Note have really created something special here. Don't miss it!
